Companies are in a unique position to create the resources and infrastructure needed for people to realize their human rights. However, corporate conduct can also adversely affect the rights of workers, consumers, and communities.
To support and channel this development, IGMPI is providing a post graduate diploma course in Business and Human Rights.
The course will focus on the importance of international standards in strengthening respect and protection of human rights, as well as what corporate human rights due diligence means in practice for businesses.
This course will help you understand the interplay between business and human rights, including business impacts, positive and adverse, regardless of corporate intent.
The track for this course would involve administration of lectures and interactive case studies to equip the student with a toolbox to handle industrial projects and lead lasting changes in organizational workflow.

Any graduation/B.Tech/B.Sc in Microbiology/Life Sciences/Botany/Zoology/Food Science/ Food Technology/ BE/ B. Pharma/MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BUMS/BAMS or any other discipline. Diploma holders are eligible for our Executive Diploma, Industry Certificate and Certificate Programmes.
The candidate is expected to complete the programme in a minimum of 6 months (Executive Diploma) and maximum of 1 year (PG Diploma).

Effective Online learning tools incorporated into the design of the webpage make the programme lectures, online live classes, and study material easily accessible. This gives a huge window of self-paced and self-regulated performance to the participants.

IGMPI follows a credit system based on all learning activities involved in studying the certificate programs. Each of your module is equal to 4 credits. To successfully complete the programme, you will have to earn all the credits assigned to the program.
All the participants are obliged to timely submit completed assessment assignments (during the programme, usually after every module) and appear for an online proctored exam at the end of the programme. After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma/ Executive Diploma in Business and Human Rights by IGMPI. For all the above mentioned modules elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments and project work details would be provided by the Institute from time to time. Besides, it has a robust placement cell comprised of senior level Human Resources professionals and Talent Acquisition experts which maintains close links with business and industry. Soldiers may uphold peacekeeping duties, lawyers can argue for progressive laws and leaders can manage the operations of nonprofit organizations. Many people perform charity work, bring awareness to current issues around the world and fundraise for human rights organizations.
