The Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), launched the 'Sparsh Sanjeevani' initiative, benefiting over 1.5 million people in rural areas across seven states in India. Aligned with Hyundai's global vision of 'Progress for Humanity', it provides accessible healthcare through 35 telemedicine clinics and mobile medical units across states like Haryana, Rajasthan, and others. The initiative aims to expand to seven more regions, establishing 15 telemedicine centres and 10 mobile medical units in places like Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab. Under Sparsh Sanjeevani, two key programs are implemented: Telemedicine Centers and Mobile Medical Units. These facilitate remote consultations with specialist doctors and deliver healthcare services directly to rural communities' doorsteps. An investment of Rs. 43.9 crore has been committed between FY 2021-24, with Rs. 23.14 crore already deployed by FY 2023. Common ailments treated include flu, respiratory tract infections, joint pain, diabetes, and dermatological conditions.
