The Coca-Cola Company, situated in Auburndale, FL, has issued a recall for Powerade products due to the potential presence of a foreign metal object, specifically a stainless-steel ring, in the product. The recall, as reported by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on February 27, 2024, is currently ongoing.
The affected products were distributed to 760 consignees in South Carolina and Florida.
Details of the recalled products are as follows:
Powerade Zero Fruit Punch – 20oz PET bottles 24 variety pack, containing 8 bottles of Powerade Grape within the variety pack
Powerade Zero Mixed Berry – 20 oz PET bottles 24 variety pack, containing 8 bottles of Powerade Grape within the variety pack
Powerade Mountain Berry Blast – 20oz PET bottles 24 variety pack, containing 8 bottles of Powerade Grape within the variety pack
Consumers are advised not to use these products and should either dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase.
