Kingwuu and T&T Kitchen brand meat and vegetable products recalled over Listeria concerns in Canada

Jue Wei Food (Canada) Ltd. is recalling Kingwuu and T&T Kitchen brand meat and vegetable products due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

This recall was initiated by the company and affects products distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, and potentially other Canadian provinces and territories.

As of now, no illnesses related to the consumption of these products have been reported.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, and further recalls may follow. The CFIA is ensuring that the recalled products are removed from the market.

Consumers are advised not to consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute the recalled products.

Listeria monocytogenes contamination may not be apparent through sight or smell but can cause severe, potentially life-threatening infections. Individuals experiencing symptoms of Listeria infection after consuming these products should seek medical attention and inform their healthcare providers about potential Listeria exposure.
