Goat milk formula when used as an infant formula recalled for not providing sufficient nutrition

Healthwest Minerals, Inc. (Mt. Capra Products) of Chehalis, WA, is recalling 1,506 boxes of Goat Milk Formula Recipe Kit following FDA advice, urging consumers to stop using it as infant formula.

The FDA raised concerns about the formula's failure to meet all infant formula requirements, inadequate nutrition provision, and insufficient storage instructions. Infants using the recalled product without additional iron supplementation may develop feeding intolerance and iron deficiency anemia.
