DHR introduces intensive training programme to combat cervical cancer

In a significant move to bolster the fight against cervical cancer, the Department of Health Research (DHR) has announced a specialized one-week training program titled "Hands-on Training in HPV DNA Diagnostics."

Led by the Molecular Diagnostics Lab at the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (ICMR-NICPR), this pivotal program will run from August 5 to 9, 2024, in Noida.

Interested individuals can apply through the provided Google Form. The program will accept up to 20 participants, with selections finalized by July 5, 2024. The application link will deactivate upon receiving the first 100 submissions.

ICMR-NICPR is committed to conducting high-quality cancer research, focusing on prevalent cancers like those affecting the uterine cervix, breast, and oral cavity. This training initiative aims to equip participants with essential practical skills and knowledge, contributing to cervical cancer prevention and public health in India.
