Ice cream cakes sold at Wegmans recalled due to Listeria

Abilyn’s Frozen Bakery of Wilmington, MA, is recalling its ice cream cakes due to potential Listeria contamination. Wegmans has also announced the recall, notifying customers that the affected Abilyn’s Ice Cream Cakes were sold at their stores.

The recall includes all flavors of ice cream cake with Best By dates from April 20, 2024, to April 20, 2025.

Listeria monocytogenes contamination may not affect the appearance or smell of food but can cause severe, potentially life-threatening infections. Those who have consumed the recalled products and developed symptoms should seek medical attention and inform their doctors about possible Listeria exposure.

  • 30oz Vanilla and Chocolate
  • 60oz Vanilla and Chocolate
  • 30oz Cookies & Cream
  • 30oz For the Love of Chocolate
  • 30oz Cookie Dough

 Consumers should discard the recalled ice cream cakes or return them to the store for a full refund.
