Macadamia nuts recalled due to Listeria contamination

Andersen & Sons Shelling, Inc. of Vina, CA, is recalling dry roasted macadamia nuts due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall, which began on May 16, 2024, and is still ongoing. The affected product was distributed nationally in the U.S.

Listeria-contaminated food may not look or smell spoiled but can cause serious, sometimes life-threatening infections. Anyone who has consumed the recalled products and developed symptoms of Listeria infection should seek medical attention and inform their doctor about possible exposure.
