Widex brings SmartRIC devices for natural hearing

Widex has launched the WidexSmartRIC hearing aid, aiming to improve natural hearing. Its unique L-shaped design optimizes microphone placement for better speech capture, aligning with the wearer’s focus. This design feature enhances speech clarity while reducing background noise.

Claimed as Widex’s most durable rechargeable receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid, the WidexSmartRIC offers up to 37 hours of use on a single charge. The updated microphone angle enables wearers to focus on desired sounds while minimizing wind and touch noise with new microphone inlets. Widex also introduces its first portable charging solution for added convenience.

The fast-charging case can fully recharge the hearing aids in four hours or provide eight hours of use with a 30-minute charge. With the capability for five full charges, it ensures easy portability. Built on Widex’sPureSound with ZeroDelay technology platform, the WidexSmartRIC will be available this month in five premium colors.
