Founded in 2014 by IIT Bombay postgraduates, Medprime is funded by USAID-supported SAMRIDH, BIRAC grants, and supported by entities like Meity and NASSCOM. Partnerships with IIT Bombay, SINE, Venture Centre, and venture capital firms further bolster the company.

Micalys is a multifunctional platform for diagnostic labs, research facilities, and educational institutions. It features Whole Slide Imaging for detailed specimen representation and easy collaboration, and a Live View with robotic remote control for real-time telepathology. Micalys also functions as a traditional digital microscope with image and video capture capabilities.

AI-ready, Micalys aids in detecting histological, cytological samples, and blood smears, reducing human errors. Its affordable pricing ensures accessibility. The device is crucial for malaria, filaria, and TB screening in resource-limited areas, assisting diagnoses and maintaining digital records. This AI-driven device enhances precision in diagnosing conditions like filariasis, tuberculosis, and cancer.
