Zepp Health launches Zepp OS 4: redefining wearable intelligence by integration of OpenAI's GPT-4o into its Amazfit smartwatches

Zepp Health Corporation (Zepp Health) has launched Zepp OS 4, an advanced wearable technology integrating OpenAI’s GPT-4o system to enhance Amazfit smartwatches. This update introduces upgraded Zepp Flow with voice commands powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o, enabling natural interactions without keywords. Users can control devices, respond to Android app messages like WhatsApp (iOS support coming), and initiate Bluetooth calls via voice.

Language capabilities now include spoken responses in English and German, expanding to French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese soon. Enhanced Bluetooth connects Amazfit to peripherals such as Sonos speakers, Garmin meters, GoPro, and DJI cameras.

Mini apps for fitness include sports aids and specialized tests, supporting personalized workout interfaces for devices like the Cheetah series and T-Rex Ultra.

With 200 million units shipped globally, Zepp Health focuses on personalized wellness through AI-driven features in Zepp Aura and Zepp Coach, underscoring its commitment to advancing well-being with Amazfit’s ecosystem and technology.
