Additional people report illness after consuming Diamond Shruumz edibles

At least 69 people have reported becoming ill, including respiratory failure, after consuming Diamond Shruumz microdosing edibles. The recalled products, including chocolate bars, gummies, and cones, are still found on store shelves. Recently, 11 new cases were reported, with 36 patients hospitalized and one fatality. The affected individuals are in 28 states.

The edibles contain dangerous chemicals such as 4-acetoxy-DMT, desmethoxyyangonin, and dihydrokavain. Symptoms include respiratory failure, seizures, CNS depression, agitation, abnormal heart rates, and nausea.

Prophet Premium Blends has recalled all affected products, sold online and at retailers offering hemp-derived items. The FDA is monitoring the recall and working with industry groups to increase awareness. Consumers should discard any Diamond Shruumz products and seek medical help if they experience adverse reactions. Report any ongoing sales of these products to the FDA.
