Mint recalled in Ontario due to E. coli contamination

Rambrich Farms Inc. is recalling Rambrich Farms brand Mint due to generic E. coli contamination. The recall was initiated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), and the affected products were distributed in Ontario, Canada.

Consumers who have eaten the recalled mint and experience symptoms of E. coli infection, such as severe stomach cramps, bloody diarrhea, or fever, should seek medical attention and inform their doctor about possible exposure. E. coli infections can mimic other illnesses and require specific tests for diagnosis. Most individuals recover within five to seven days, but some may experience severe or life-threatening symptoms and complications, according to the CDC.
