Emoneeds collaborates with New Venture Fund and NAADAM to provide free mental health treatment for 2,500 individuals in Tier 2, 3 cities and rural areas of India

Emoneeds, a digital mental health platform, has partnered with the New Venture Fund for Global Policy and Advocacy (NVF for GPA) and Hyderabad-based NGO NAADAM to provide free mental health treatment to over 2,500 patients in tier 2, tier 3 cities, and rural areas of India. This initiative addresses the significant gap in mental health services in underserved regions.

Emoneeds will offer a range of services, including tele-psychiatry, tele-psychotherapy, and cognitive remediation therapy, focusing on conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, OCD, and substance abuse. The project will utilize a network of over 40 mental health professionals to deliver tailored treatment plans, including AI tools and clinical decision support systems to enhance care and monitor outcomes.

The initiative aims to create a data-driven, evidence-based model for mental health service delivery, improving accountability and transparency while potentially informing national and global policies.
