Unsanitary conditions resulted in recall of cornbread muffins

Frozen Food Processors, Inc. of Hattiesburg, MS is recalling 1,862 cases of cornbread muffins due to being produced without a state license and under unsanitary conditions. According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall began on July 22, 2024, and is still ongoing. The affected muffins were distributed across Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Alabama.

Recalled Product Details

- Product: Frozen Food Processors – Regular Cornbread Muffins

- Packaging: 2oz corrugated cardboard boxes lined with food-grade plastic bags, with instructions to keep frozen at 0°F or lower until use.

- Quantity: 1,862 cases, with 96 muffins per case.

- Codes: Batch #FFP 15600 and above, Lot #’s 060624, 061224, 070924, 062724, 060524, with Best By dates between 06/05/25 and 07/09/25.

Consumers and retailers are advised not to use the recalled product and should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase.
