Bunge aims at Fulfilling lecithin demand in snacks, bakery and beverages.

Bunge is expanding its North American lecithin product line to include de-oiled soybean lecithin, complementing its existing global offerings of crude, standard, and specialty lecithin derived from soybeans, sunflower, and rapeseed. This addition addresses the increasing demand for efficiency among customers, particularly in applications such as beverages, bakery, snacks, supplements, and pet food, where efficient mixing is crucial.

The new de-oiled soybean lecithin will be available in both powdered and granulated forms, meeting customer expectations for a clean taste and light color. These products will be produced from soybeans grown by local farmers near Bunge’s Bellevue, Ohio facility.
