Margarine recalled in Canada due to mold concerns

Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling PC Blue Menu brand Original Margarine and Margarine with Olive Oil due to potential mold contamination. The recall, announced by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), affects products distributed nationwide in Canada.

Mold in food can pose significant health risks. According to the USDA, molds can trigger allergic reactions, respiratory issues, and, under certain conditions, produce mycotoxins—harmful substances that can cause illness. Regular food inspection and proper storage are essential to prevent mold growth.
