Sausage products recalled in Canada due to glove pieces in product

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is recalling various sausage products due to nitrile glove pieces found in the products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) reported that these items were distributed nationwide in Canada.

The recalled brands include Co-op Centsibles, Schneiders, Mitchell’s, Olympic, Craft Meats, Burns, and Carver’s Choice. The details of some affected products are:

- Burns: Pizza Pepperoni 4×20 COV (Best Before: 2024 OC 17 EST 69B)

- Carver’s Choice: Sausage Snacks, 750g (Best Before: 2024 NO 27 EST 69B, 2024 DE 03 EST 69B)

- Co-op Centsibles: Weiners, 1 kg (Best Before: 2024 NO 01 EST 69B)

- Mitchell’s: Salami, 500 g (Best Before: 2024 OC 23 EST 69B)

- Olympic Craft Meats: Canadian Cheddar, Honey Garlic Sausages, 1.2 kg (Best Before: 2024 NO 07 EST 69B)
