Terumo India introduces TREO abdominal stent-graft system

Terumo India, a subsidiary of Terumo Corporation, has launched the TREO Stent-Graft System, an advanced solution for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). This system, designed for treating infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms, is notable for its unique combination of suprarenal and infrarenal active fixation.

With abdominal aortic aneurysms increasingly prevalent in India, affecting about 1 in 10,000 people annually, the need for effective treatments is growing. The TREO Stent-Graft System features a three-piece design with in situ limb adjustability, improved proximal sealing for stability, and superior lock stent technology to minimize migration risks. Its flexible design adapts to challenging anatomies, offering enhanced treatment flexibility and long-term performance. Clinical studies indicate lower sac shrinkage and re-intervention rates.
