Retailers' list that sold Boar’s Head deli meats connected with outbreak now availabl

The California Department of Health and several grocery chains have identified stores that sold Boar’s Head deli meats linked to a deadly Listeria outbreak. At least 57 people across 18 states have been affected, with nine fatalities, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Boar’s Head has recalled over 7 million pounds of deli meats due to the outbreak. The full list of retail locations is available on the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) website (RC-023-2024Retail-List.pdf).

In California, major retailers such as Albertson’s, Sprouts, Safeway, and Vons, as well as independent delis, are included in the recall. The complete list for California can be found online, while consumers in other states should check supermarket recall notices. Some stores that have posted notices include:
