Roche bolsters AI-driven cancer diagnostics by advancing its digital pathology open environment

Roche has expanded its digital pathology open environment by integrating over 20 advanced AI algorithms from eight new partners. These collaborations aim to enhance cancer research and diagnosis by supporting pathologists and scientists with cutting-edge AI technology.

This integration is made possible through Roche’s navify Digital Pathology enterprise software, which now includes a variety of AI-powered algorithms, allowing seamless access to third-party innovations. These AI tools provide deeper pathology insights, aiding in precision medicine and targeted treatments for cancer patients.

Key collaborators include Deep Bio (prostate cancer detection and grading), DiaDeep (breast cancer biomarker quantification), Lunit (non-small cell lung cancer TPS analysis), Mindpeak (biomarkers for multiple cancers), and others focused on colorectal, breast, and prostate cancers.

With these partnerships, Roche reinforces its commitment to improving patient outcomes through personalised healthcare. As a leader in pathology lab solutions, Roche offers a complete digital pathology system, from tissue staining to AI-based image analysis, ensuring high-quality, reliable results. Founded in 1896, Roche is now a global leader in biotechnology and in-vitro diagnostics.
