Post Graduate Diploma/Executive in Precision nutrition will give an insight to the students about the Precision aspect of Nutrition and its role in therapeutics and gut health.

Precision Nutrition is an approach to nutrition that focuses on the therapeutic potential of food and nutrients to support and optimize the body's functions. It goes beyond the traditional view of nutrition, which mainly emphasizes the prevention of nutrient deficiencies, and instead looks at the ways in which specific foods and nutrients can positively impact physiological processes.

The Precision Nutrition Certification Modules are part of a comprehensive certification program designed for fitness, health, and wellness professionals who want to expand their expertise in nutrition coaching. These modules cover a wide range of topics, blending science-based theory with practical strategies for client success.

This Post Graduate Diploma/Executive programme opens new ways for health professionals including dietitians, doctors, pharmacologists, hospital technicians, etc. to gain more knowledge regarding Precision Nutrition. It gives a professional outlook to the people in these fields. They will be able to review patients in the hospital setups as well as clinics. It also beneficial for home makers to understand about this epidemic and its dietary changes.

Practitioners of Precision nutrition, such as Precision nutritionists or dietitians, work with individuals to create customized nutrition plans that aim to restore balance, support the body's natural healing processes, and optimize overall health. This approach is gaining popularity as people seek more holistic and personalized solutions to their health concerns.

After completion of this course one can work as an dietitian specialist in Precision Nutrition, Patient care manager at MNCs and Health centres, Research Dietitian at various organizations, Nutrition Nurse at Hospitals, health centres, nursing homes, Volunteers at Orphanages for patients, Dietician in hospitals and Nutritionists in health clinics, health centres and MNCs. Also they can work as a project assistant, project associate and chief nutritionist in NGO's and private organizations.

It will also enable an individual to avail of jobs at government, community and private hospitals, community and private clinics, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies as an Precision Nutrition educator / Dietitian. One can work as a Precision Nutrition counsellor and assist doctor in counselling their patients in any private clinic/hospital.

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma, Executive Diploma, and Professional Certificate Programmes.

Programme Duration

12 months for the Post Graduate Diploma and 6 months for the Executive Diploma.

Programme Deliverables

A comprehensive study material for all the modules in hard copies ensuring the needs of the audience. The accompanying training material is appropriately aligned with the current Industry’s expectations.

  • Interactive or online live sessions on all key areas of the programme giving all flexibility to the participants.
  • Online classes for all the modules will be conducted on the weekends. Moreover, a doubt clearing session will also be scheduled before the examination.
  • All the efforts are made by IGMPI faculty members to make the entire programme modules easily understandable.
  • Assessment and evaluation for all the programme modules in order to enhance the levels of competencies and skills of the participants leading towards the objective of application in the job.
  • At the end of each programme modules, the trainers shall obtain feedback from the participants using specially designed questionnaires.
  • All learning and training delivery initiatives shall be conducted in English.

Assessment & Certification

All the participants are expected to appear for online assessment. After successfully qualifying the examination, the participants will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in Precision Nutrition in Precision Nutrition by Centre for Nutrition and Dietetics (CNDS), IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned elaborate study resources, Assessment test papers and case studies would be provided by the Institute from time to time. Details get updated on the website as well. The certification will be awarded after the required levels of knowledge, skills, professionalism and attitude are assessed through the IGMPI assessment process.
