IGMPI Herbal Formulations programme provides the insight knowledge on the craft of the formulations and the safety concern of herbs used for the formulation development.
The use of herbal medicinal products and supplements has increased tremendously over the past decades with not less than 80% of people worldwide relying on them for some part of primary healthcare.
Although therapies involving herbal agents have shown promising potential with the efficacy of a good number of herbal products clearly established, many of herbs still remain undemonstrated and their use are either poorly identified or not even monitored at all. The consequence of this leads to inappropriate action and potential adverse reactions, contraindications. Since safety continues to be a major issue with the use of herbal remedies, it becomes imperative, therefore, that relevant practices are put in place appropriate considerations to protect public health by ensuring that all herbal medicines are safe and of suitable quality.

Any graduate/ B.tech/ B.Sc. in Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ BE/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline. Diploma holders are eligible for our Executive Diploma, Industry Certificate, and Certificate Programmes.
Minimum duration to complete this programme is 3 months and maximum is 6 months.

A comprehensive study material for all the modules in hard copies ensuring the needs of the audience. The accompanying training material is appropriately aligned with the current Industry’s expectations.
IGMPI follows a credit system based on all learning activities involved in studying for all PG Diploma, Executive Diploma and Certificate Programmes. Each of your modules is equal to 4 credits. To successfully complete the programme, you will have to earn all the credits assigned to your programme. All the participants are obliged to timely submit completed assessment assignments (during the programme, usually after every module) and appear for an online exam at the end of the programme.
After successful completion, the participants will receive a Certificate in Herbal formulations by IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned modules, Online Classes (Online mode) or face-to-face classes (Regular mode), elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments would be provided by the Institute. Besides, it has a robust placement cell comprised of senior level Human Resources professionals and Talent Acquisition experts which maintains close links with business and industry.
