Nutrient requirements and adequacy are the foundation of human nutrition and public health. Meeting recommended dietary allowances (RDAs) for various age groups is essential for growth, development, disease prevention, and optimal functioning of the body. Inadequate intake can lead to deficiencies and long-term health complications, while excesses may lead to toxicity or metabolic burden.
This workshop focuses on the scientific understanding of nutrient needs, factors influencing them, and how to assess and ensure nutritional adequacy across different populations.

Any Diploma holder/ graduation/ B.tech/ B.Sc. in Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ BE/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline. Diploma holders are eligible for our Executive Diploma, Industry Certificate, and Certificate Programmes.
Dates: 1st and 2nd August, 2025
All the participants will be awarded Certificate of Participation by Centre for Nutrition and Dietetics Studies, IGMPI. The physical copy of the certificate of completion will be dispatched to your address.
