With the new laws to be enacted by 2014 in the US for example, healthcare is going to cost more out-of pocket to the consumer. That will encourage consumers to seek out information and more knowledgeably select and purchase the lower-priced OTC alternatives. By opting for this programme, the candidate will have better knowledge of OTC medication and their safe use and supporting regulation and can work as regulatory associate in the team working in this area.
