The Certificate Course in Expressive Arts Therapy is a six-month program designed to equip professionals with a deep understanding of the therapeutic use of creative expression in mental health, social work, education, and healthcare. Integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the course prepares participants to harness the healing potential of art, music, movement, drama, and writing in diverse therapeutic settings. The curriculum covers the creativity, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions for emotional and psychological well-being. It explores evidence-based approaches such as intermodal expressive therapies, somatic integration, and trauma-informed creative practices, alongside specialized training for working with children, trauma survivors, individuals with special needs, and marginalized communities. Emphasizing emotional resilience, personal transformation, and holistic healing, the course also highlights practitioner self-care, ethical considerations, and sustainable expressive arts practices. Eligibility
Any Graduate/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline. Diploma holders are eligible for our Post Graduate, Executive Diploma, Industry Certificate, and Certificate Programmes.

The duration to complete this programme is 6 months (Certificate).

Examination and Certification
IGMPI follows a credit system based on all learning activities involved in studying for all PG Diploma, Executive Diploma and Certificate Programmes. Each of your modules is equal to 4 credits. To successfully complete the programme, you will have to earn all the credits assigned to your programme.
All the participants are expected to appear for an online exam and are also obliged to submit assignments after each module. After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Certificate Course in Expressive Arts Therapy by Centre for Health Management and Research, IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned modules, Online Classes (Online mode) or face-to-face classes (Regular mode), elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments would be provided by the Institute. The Institute has partnered with many organizations for providing with placement assistance to its participants. Besides, it has a robust placement cell comprised of senior level Human Resources professionals and Talent Acquisition experts which maintains close links with business and industry.
