Certificate in Yogic Diet and Nutrition

Food is not merely fuel for the body — it is energy that shapes the mind, emotions, and consciousness. In Yogic philosophy, diet (Ahara) is considered a cornerstone of holistic health, influencing not only physical strength but also mental clarity and spiritual evolution.

The Yogic Diet emphasizes purity, balance, and mindfulness. It is based on the principle that the quality of food directly affects the quality of thoughts and behavior. A diet that promotes harmony and inner calm is known as Sattvic, while foods that cause restlessness or inertia are Rajasic and Tamasic respectively. Through conscious selection of food and eating practices, one can cultivate a sattvic state of being — leading to better health, emotional balance, and spiritual awareness.
