Until the development of modern IP regime, protection of inventions and designs was not a common phenomenon. The graduates emerging from the healthcare & pharma, agriculture, food & nutrition and other technology streams lack any training in IPR. Thus, there is a crucial need to develop skills and expertise for filing various IPR applications and for IPR protection. The programme has been designed specifically to meet the needs of IPR and enrich the aspirants with the combination of IPR law and management. The programme produces the outstanding IP professionals having ability to promptly get absorbed in corporate at managerial level.
This 5-days programme which will cover various aspects of IPR. This programme will facilitate participants to work as IP and patents professionals with MNCs, evolving domestic industries, outsourcing companies, etc. and ready to work as IP professional.
The main goals of this programme are to

Module 7: Emerging issues in IPR and their Infringement
Module 8: IPR in different industries- Pharmaceutical, agriculture, biotech and nutrition, etc.
Module 9: Patenting trends in food industries
Module 10: IPR case studies
Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma, Executive Diploma and Professional Certifications Programmes. 10+2 pass-outs are eligible for our Under Graduate Diploma and Diploma holders of two to three years course duration are also eligible for the PG Diploma.
The duration of the training is 5 days.

All the participants are expected to appear for online assessment. After successfully qualifying the examination, the participants will be awarded Professional Certification in Intellectual Property Rights by Faculty of Food Safety and Quality, IGMPI. Details get updated on the website as well. The Professional Certification will be awarded after the required levels of knowledge, skills, professionalism and attitude are assessed through the IGMPI assessment process.
Every student is required to observe a disciplined behaviour during her/his classes, assessments & examinations and to follow instructions from the Professors. Any act of indiscipline may result into discredit & it will be mentioned in her/his academic report.
For the Post Graduate Diploma and Undergraduate Diploma Programmes, we will provide placement assistance after the completion of the programme. The Institute has partnered with many organizations for providing placement assistance to its students. The robust placement cell comprises senior level Human Resources professionals and Talent Acquisition experts which maintains close links with business and industry. The efforts of our placement cell also include helping with professional resume writing, interview skills & conducting mock interviews etc.
