This programme offer short course and training designed for professionals who want to get an up-to-date, quick and solid knowledge, from experts. It offers an opportunity to start and develop your career in Drug Safety. In accordance with the current guidelines, you will have to report adverse events (AEs). This programme will help you in analysing the side effects of drugs and monitor the safety of drugs available in the market. The responsibilities of Pharmacovigilance Associate include conducting the risk-benefit analysis; tracking all drug related reports; reviewing and assessing all drug related documents; entering database reports and performing label assessment. This programme is devised with an all-intensive and thorough research to impart complete conceptual knowledge. A Pharmacovigilance Associate (PVA) role may also be called a Pharmacovigilance Officer, Drug Safety Officer (DSO), Drug Safety Associate, or a Patient Safety Specialist. This short course is built so that students are grounded in real job market and today's practices.

Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma, Executive Diploma and Professional Certifications Programmes. 10+2 pass-outs are eligible for our Under Graduate Diploma and Diploma holders of two to three years course duration are also eligible for the PG Diploma.
The minimum duration to complete the Professional Certification programme is 6 months and maximum is 12 months. Alternatively, this programme may also be completed in a short-term duration of 5 days.

A comprehensive study material (for 6 months Professional Certification) for all the modules in hard copies ensuring the needs of the audience. The accompanying training material is appropriately aligned with the current Industry’s expectations.
All the participants are obliged to appear for an online proctored exam at the end of the course. After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Professional Certification in Pharmacovigilance Associate by Faculty of Clinical Research and Drug Safety, IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned modules elaborate course material, self-assessment assignments and project work details would be provided by the Institute from time to time. Every student is required to observe a disciplined behaviour during her/his classes, assessments & examinations and to follow instructions from the Professors. Any act of indiscipline may result into discredit & it will be mentioned in her/his academic report.
