Dr. Mahesh C Gupta, Principal Advisor: Dr. Mahesh C Gupta is an experienced and internationally reputed Scientist in the field of calibration, quality assurance and testing. He has last worked with National Physical Laboratory (NPLI), New Delhi for 32 years where he played a vital role in developing the lab accreditation program of India as Head National Calibration Program. He is also the founder president of Indian quality association. He has expertise and proficiency in various fields like calibration, GLP, analytical techniques, quality assurance, laboratory inter-comparison, proficiency testing, QMS and many more. With his knowledge and rich experience, he is focused on practical aspects of current needs, contemporary and emerging trends, besides alerting the laboratories for future challenges. A PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi, Dr. Mahesh C Gupta has been associated as a research fellow of Optical Society of India, Fellow of Indian Society of Lighting Engineers and Vacuum society of India. He has also worked with Dubai Central Laboratory, Dubai as Principal Quality Officer. He is also currently managing Lab World Magazine- renowned world class magazine dedicated to Quality Testing and Calibration laboratories in all sectors-as the Editor in Chief.
Dr. Syed S. Abbas, Director : Dr. Syed S. Abbas is currently serving as the Director of IGMPI. Owing to his academic achievements and interests, Dr. Abbas has gained working knowledge of several sectors of the business industry, in his career span of twenty five years. His contributions to Pharma, Food and healthcare industries and development studies are numerous. Some of the generous ones count around the esteemed projects, work models, business agendas and organisational setup works he has plotted, guided and worked for in the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, education and training Industry, Information Technology & Digital media industries, Pharmaceutical and Food products contract manufacturing and marketing, training, team building, research and export, and also non-governmental organizations, and many others. He has completed his Graduation in Science, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Masters in Public Administration from Lucknow University and Executive MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. He is a life time member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA). For his continued efforts and enterprising approach towards the education, training and career development, he has been conferred with Quality Council of India (QCI) – DL Shah National Quality Award 2015 & ASSOCHAM Services Excellence Award 2017.
Dr. Abbas is also a nominated Governing Council Member of Regional Food Research & Analysis Centre, Lucknow, Department of Horticulture & Food Processing, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
As the Administrative head of IGMPI, he with his experience has been guiding and advising sincerely to bring forth a whole new bouquet of easy learning and training tools for all those using or planning to use or otherwise interested in gaining knowledge about Good Manufacturing Practices and related areas. His main emphasis is always to work for relevance in training imparted for various job profiles for the industry right from the shop floor to the top levels and also to ensure that IGMPI consistently provides training and other onsite services of the utmost quality, thousands of industry professionals as well as fresh pass-outs from Fortune 500 and global Pharmaceutical, Food and healthcare giants have been trained at IGMPI from across the world from the perspective of regulatory and audit compliance, competency development, career development and planning at IGMPI as a result under his leadership that also leads to high quality pharmaceutical and food products and human well-being.
Mr.Vinod Kumar Arora, Principal Advisor - Mr. Vinod Kumar Arora is an internationally acclaimed industry professional having 35 years of rich experience in pharmaceutical development in the areas of Generics, Differentiated, NDDS/NCE Dosage Forms. He is now associated with IGMPI as principal advisor.
He joined Ranbaxy in 1983 where he initially worked as scientist for almost 4 years. He rejoined Ranbaxy in 1994 where graduated to Vice President level from Assistant Director position. During his association with Ranbaxy he developed products - Generics, Differentiated Generics, NDAs and NCE-Global, market specific and OTC. Prior to his association with Ranbaxy, he worked as an Assistant General Manager with the Formulation Development Research in Cadila Laboratories, Ahmedabad and helped in setting up of Onco-manufacturing facility and developed several oncology products. He has expertise in Dosage Form development in the area of dosage forms - Solids - Tablets / Capsules / Granules / Pellets / PFOS / TFOS; Non-solids-Liquid/Injectables including Lyophilised/Topicals, Inhalations - DPI/pMDI and Nasal Spray, Dosage Forms Technology such as Nanotechnology, Depot Injection; Modified Release tablets/suspension, Self-Emulsifying System, Oro dispersing tablets/oro-dissolving strips; Particles/Pellets coating and has good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and QA/QC. He has made presentations to NDAC Committee for New Drugs Approval in India, had meetings with Oman MOH and Pre IND meetings with USFDA. He has also authored/co-authored over 100 patents in the area of NCE/ Differentiated products /NDDS/Generics. With his knowledge and rich experience, he is focused on practical aspects of current needs, contemporary and emerging trends, besides alerting the pharmaceutical industries for future challenges. He is holding many honorary positions - Present Member of Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) Scientific Body, Consultant to Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Panel member of INMAS-DRDO, Ranbaxy Science Foundation Scholars Award, Global Expert committee member of DFE Pharma, Germany and Distinguished Scientist from World Whos Who Society, Member of Indian Pharma Committee of Make in India Campaign etc. He was felicitated by Honble former President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, for development and launch of first NCE - Anti malarial from India. Mr. Vinod Arora is a M. Pharm degree holder from BHU and DBM from IMM, New Delhi. Prof. Dr. Neha Ronald William, Associate Professor: Dr. Neha Ronald William is an Associate Professor at IGMPI. She has completed her B.Pharm from Kurukshetra University in 2010 and M.Pharm (Pharmacology) from Pt. B.D. Sharma University, Rohtak in 2012. She earned her PhD (Pharmaceutical Sciences) from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh) in 2020. Her credentials include 8 publications in various journals of repute with high impact factor (Thomas Reuters) and one book published in lambert academy on memory enhancing activity on Fluvoxamine maleate. She has also represented project in DST. She has 9 years of experience in teaching and research. Her research interests include Alzheimer disease, cancer, Neurodisorders. With her rich involvement with the Pharma area, at IGMPI she contributes her insight and wide experience of the business to prepare and direct the students for the better methodology in the profession way and to take their ability advancement and information to the following step. She has 8 years of experience in Clinical Research Industry. She has worked as a Clinical Research faculty with Jims College. She has also worked with Medanta The Medicity Hospital (In Liver Transplant Department, Kidney Dept.). She had also worked with Panacea Biotech and Bristol Mayer’s Squibb. She is a proficient professional with expertise in Clinical trials. She has faced a Global Audit for her Project “CRAD001H2307 Site 4001, Novartis Phase III Drug Trial”. She has immense experience in Clinical Trial Projects that include Sponsor initiated: A 24 month, randomized, controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of concentration-controlled everolimus plus reduced tacrolimus compared to standard tacrolimus in recipients of living donor liver transplants”. Prof. Mohammad Arish, Assistant Professor: Prof. Mohammad Arish is an Assistant Professor at IGMPI. He has completed his Bsc. Anesthesia & Operation Theater Techniques from Jamia Hmadard in 2016, Msc.in Clinical Research from Jamia Hamdard and has immense experience in the field of Clinical Research. He has prior industrial experience as Centralized Monitoring at IQVIA, where he was involved in overseeing and optimizing the conduct of clinical trials.This role involves a combination of strategic planning and data analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of clinical trial data across various sites and worked with global study managers, scientific committee, data management team and central risk leader.Demonstrated expertise in remotely monitoring multiple clinical trial sites to ensure data quality and compliance with industry regulations. He has also worked with Max Super Speciality Hospital as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where he has worked in covid-19(vaccine), oncology and nephrology clinical trials. He has also worked with Nephroplus Healthcare and managed operations of clinical trials. At IGMPI, his responsibilities include teaching, training and guiding of students over subjects of Clinical Research.
Prof. Juhi Rajhans, Assistant Professor: Ms. Juhi Rajhans is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Environment, Health and Safety (IGMPI). She has completed a BS- MS dual degree in physics from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata and ScM degree in Experimental Physics from Brown University, USA. She has rich teaching experience from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. She has worked as a government consultant for TLGS Consulting Group, PwC and Alien Technology Transfer – focusing on investment promotion for the Government of Tamil Nadu, white paper analysis for waste to energy generation and sanitation and deep-tech startup curation from lab-to-market for the European Union. She has worked on global reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD and SBTi as a consultant for various startup companies.
Ms. Rajhans is an experienced professional working towards topics such as ESG and sustainability development at IGMPI. She specializes in the role of science, technology and innovation in sustainable development. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Technology Management from IMSR Mumbai on the topic – the role of sustainable AI in Government. She is passionate about social impact and has conducted the first ever Memory Café pilot in Kolkata in collaboration with the Hope Foundation. She also has a decade of research experience as a KVPY Scholar and a JN Tata fellow on varied topic of theoretical and applied physics.
Prof. Ria Banerjee, Assistant Professor: Prof. Ria Banerjee is an Assistant Professor at IGMPI and has more than five years of total teaching experience in the Pharmaceutical Department. She has completed her B.Pharm from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu in the year 2013 and secured second position with a silver medal at her Department. She then completed her M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from Uttarakhand Technical University in the year 2015. She has worked as project trainee at CSIR-CDRI where she formulated “ Dual Acting Ciprofloxacin HCl and Calcium Phosphate Nanoparticles for therapeutic intervention of Osteomyelitis”. She specializes and possesses knowledge about various drug formulation and their characterization. She has hands on experience in Formulation and Development of Nanoparticles and Nanoparticles embedded drug dosage forms. She has keen interests in developing Novel Drug Delivery Systems and has attended various national and international conferences regarding NDDS. Her research interests include Formulation development and evaluation. She demonstrates a plethora of knowledge in the area of Novel drug delivery systems, Nanoparticulate drug delivery and targeted drug delivery systems. She has also worked in the IPR and drug regulatory sector where she monitored and analyzed new patent publications and their abstractions and annotations. She has worked with the pioneer organization like Thomson Reuters now Clarivate Analytics in Science and IP department. She aims to utilize her insights on research skills, formulation skills, analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, IPR and management skills about pharmaceuticals and cosmetic formulations to impart knowledge to students which contributes to their professional development.

Syeda Alisha Md Isha Ali, Assistant Professor: Syeda Alisha Md Isha Ali is an Assistant Professor at IGMPI. She has completed her B.Pharm from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2014 and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance) from Manipal University, Manipal in 2016. She has prior industrial experience in product development and evaluation in Apotex Research Private Limited, where she was involved in conducting stability studies of pharmaceutical oral solid dosage forms. She specializes and possesses knowledge about routine stability studies, quality assurance and regulations in GMP for ANDA, ANDS, MHRA, and TGA authorizations as per ICH. She is currently submitting her doctoral studies, Ph.D (Pharmaceutical Sciences) at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. Her credentials include three Scopus-indexed publications in good impact journals in areas of stability studies of pharmaceutical products and Ayurvedic formulations. She has represented her doctoral studies in various international and national conferences. Her research interests includes product development and evaluation, quality assurance and control strategies, stability studies as per ICH, developing scientific evidence for the stability of pharmaceutical and Ayurvedic formulations using modern analytical techniques. With her diverse involvement in Pharmaceutical and herbal domain, she demonstrates a plethora of knowledge in quality assurance, quality control, drug discovery and product development and regulatory aspects on Pharmaceuticals and herbals. She aims to utilize her insights on research skills, analytic skills, writing skills, regulatory knowledge, GMP, GLP, GDP, data integrity, quality assurance and management skills about pharmaceuticals and herbals to impart knowledge to students which contributes to their professional development.

Additionally, Dr Richa has also worked as Dentist in various hospitals for their accreditation programmes of multiple hospitals. She has received her Ph.D. degree from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agriculture University Bikaner (Rajasthan). She did her research work on ‘’Nutritional Status of Primary School Children aged 7-12 Years Residing in Rural and Urban Areas of Bikaner District, (Rajasthan)’’. She has worked as an Assistant Lecturer in Al Arab Medical University, Bengzahi, Libya and taught programme of Food and Nutrition in Public Health Department. Prof. Indrani Dasgupta, Assistant Professor: Indrani Dasgupta is a dynamic professional and an educator at the Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices India. She is a Management Grad from Doon Business School, Dehradun. Along with her PGDM in Marketing and Human Resources, she also holds a Master's degree in Commerce from Nagpur University. She is certified in Strategic Management from IIM, Rohtak. She oversees the full spectrum of product management, digital marketing and electronic commerce management programmes at IGMPI. Prof. Kajal Verma, Associate Professor: A highly seasoned and conscientious Faculty of Food with over eight years of professional standards for safe food handling and distribution. She holds an M.tech degree in Food tech from Gautam Buddha University. Skilled researcher of evolving food production trends to optimize safety and sanitation of all products. Adept multitasker able to address a high volume of students and management projects and questions with full professionalism and accuracy. She has extensive knowledge of quality assurance activities including audits recommending and implementing corrective actions providing accurate documentation of statistical reports and ensuring overall compliance. Prof. Jyotsna Singh, Assistant Professor: Prof. Jyotsna is an optimistic professional associated with IGMPI as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Safety and Quality, she has her expertise and has accomplished magnificent success working in the field of Food Safety, Product Development, HACCP Team Leader and Overall Quality control and Quality Assurance perspectives along with Food Regulatory Affairs in Food Industry.She has completed her Post Graduation i.e.,M.Sc. in Food Processing Nutrition Science and Technology from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, IIEST Shibpur, and holds an experience of more than 8 years in Food Manufacturing Sector.
She has worked in renowned MNC’s as Quality Manager and Team Leader such as Dabur India Limited, Motherdairy, Fresca Juices, Suryafresh Foods Limited (Priyagold Biscuits) etc. She is a Certified Functional Food Analyst and has worked on many Research projects such Extraction of Single cell protein and its stimulation from fruit peel wastes, conversion of jackfruit seeds to fungal biomass, etc. She has been HACCP Team leader, Food GMP Advisor in her previous Organizations. Prof. Monika Singh, Associate Professor: Prof. Monika Singh is associated with IGMPI as an Associate Professor. Prior to her association with IGMPI, she has worked with groups like Haldiram’s as Executive Quality for 8 years, Arizzonna International Limited a venture of Raindrops Rice as a Food Technologist. Over the years, she has assisted in the development and implementation of Quality Systems where her help was invaluable in setting up the Quality and Operations functions at the company. She used to conduct awareness and training programs for lab safety and documentation compliance. She was also involved with drafting and reviewing multiple documents for organizations, including SOPs, protocols, and safety training for employees. She is a self-motivated and diligent individual who is able to deliver the required outputs within the set timelines and able to adapt to constantly changing environments and situations. She has been an integral part in the preparation of documents for licensing and registration of FSSAI & Legal metrology and regulatory affairs during her industrial experience. She has also worked for the label compliance (as per FSSAI labeling laws) of export products (approx. 280 products). She has successfully completed all FSSAI hygiene rating audits and was awarded 5-star ratings at 64 outlets of Haldiram’s. Prof. Preeti Gupta, Assistant Professor: Prof. Preeti Gupta is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Centre for Nutrition & Dietitics, IGMPI and she is a holistic nutritionist Expert. She has received her Master Degree from Banasthali Vidyapith University, Jaipur. She also worked with different reputed hospitals and educational institute and also done a project on “Development of Fibre Rich Biscuits Incorporation with Mix Fruit Pomace”. She has specialization in Food and Nutrition, Public Health and Dietetics, foundation to human development, adolescent and adulthood nutrition, clinical and Child care nutrition and nutrition in Sports, Fitness and Yoga. She also has given workshops on Blood diets, Cancer Diets, Water Therapy, Alkaline Diet and done talk show on healthy eating habits for Harbour Press International and conducted various Webinar on “Importance and History of Indian Food and its Benefits”. Honored as Chief Dietitian at myla.in for live talk on healthy eating in their social media platform. Prof. Deepika Bengani, Assistant Professor: Prof. Deepika Bengani is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Centre for Nutrition & Dietetics Studies, IGMPI and she is a holistic dietitian and consulted hundreds of patients and expert in clinical nutrition, weight management and therapeutic nutrition. She has received her Master Degree from Amity University, Noida. She also carries degree in Food technology from Delhi University. She has worked with Coca Cola Company, Indian Standard Bureau as Food technologist. She has also worked with different companies and educational institutes and also done a project on “Pcos and Pcod incorporation with Healthcare Company. She has worked with VLCC as Senior Dietitian, Healthifyme as Lifestyle Coach and in VLCC institute as Senior Nutrition Faculty. She has completed her 8 years of experience in Nutrition Field. She has presented herself as nutrition expert to the Police Women Commission and Millennium Little School. Prof. Simran Jaluthria, Assistant Professor: Prof. Simran Jaluthria is associated with IGMPI as an Assistant Professor. She is highly qualified and skilled with expertise in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Holding two qualifications in UGC-NET and a Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with first division from Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurgaon, she is dedicated to enhancing her knowledge and experience to reach the highest peak for better outcomes. Additionally, she has expertise in Nutritional Biochemistry, metabolic disorders, and Food Science coupled with her background in research onInfant and Young Child feeding (IYCF) makes her a valuable resource in the field. With years of experience, she has conducted dietary and nutritional research and developed programs, and policies to empower clinical nutrition education. Having worked with renowned hospitals like BLK-Max Super Specialty Hospital and Dr. RML Hospital in New Delhi, she has evaluated patients’ pre- and post-nutrition interventions based on various factors. Prof. Neha Sahrawat, Assistant Professor: Prof. Neha Sahrawat is working as an Assistant Professor at Centre for Nutrition and Dietetics Studies (CNDS), IGMPI. She has four years of research experience as a Research Scholar at the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan. She is the recipient of the “Best Poster Award” at the “Indian Horticulture Summit”, Processing and Value Addition of Pomegranates from Arid and semi- Arid Areas Leading to Sequential Production of Several Valuables, Society of Horticultural Research and Development at Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodya Vishwavidyalaya, Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh. She has presented a research paper at a National Seminar on “Role of Community Science Education in Rural Development” at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar sponsored by (ICSSR) Indian Council of Social Science Research. She has edited a book named “Role of Women in Food Security: A Current Concern” Navjeevan Publication, Jaipur. ISBN: 978-8182-68-216-0. She has prepared a dissertation on “Proximate, Antioxidant and Sensory Evaluation of Functional Aqualetes from Coffea arabica (Green Coffee) and Cymbopogon citratus (Lemongrass)”. Prof. Anchal Awana, Assistant Professor: Prof. Anchal Awana is an Assistant Professor Faculty of Food Safety and Quality,IGMPI. She pursued M-Tech in Food Safety and Quality Management from NIFTEM (National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management). She has completed her B-Tech in Food Technology from University of Delhi (Institute of Home Economics). She has experience in the Spice Industry and has extensive knowledge about Food Regulatory Affairs. She is a certified internal auditor for BRC version 8 and ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety and Management System). She has professional skills of labelling regulations for export and domestic market, packaging regulatory and complaint handling, SOP development and management for quality rejection and recall and traceability. At IGMPI, she guides and trains students to pursue their career in the food industry.

Prof. Swarnima Dey, Assistant Professor: Swarnima Dey is an Assistant Professor at IGMPI. She has completed her B.Sc Food Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University and M.Sc in Food Technology from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh). Now she is on the verge of completing her Ph.D in Food Technology from Amity University. She holds a research experience of 3.5 years as a Senior Research Fellow at National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM). She also has a teaching experience of 1 year at NIFTEM. She has been actively involved in organizing various training programmes for village people to help them improve their economic stability. She actively participates in many conferences and seminars. Her involvement with IGMPI helps students to have a better understanding in research and new product development areas. Prof. Eebha Saxena, Associate Professor: Ms. Eebha Saxena is associated with IGMPI as an Associate Professor. Prior to this association,she has a rich experience of over 10 years as a Quality Assurance professional.She have recently worked in filing an IND in the USA for Akamara Biomedicine Private Limited, New Delhi where she worked as Quality Assurance Manager-II for 1.5 years.Her areas of expertise include QA/QC, GMP, GDP, Validations, Audits, Computer System Validation, Regulatory affairs etc.
Prior to this, she has excelled in documentation &imparting trainings at Invictus Oncology Private Limited, New Delhi where she was associated as Quality Assurance-Manager for 06 yearstaking care of the overall QA & QC departments. Over the years, she assisted in the development and implementation of Quality Systems where her help was invaluable in setting up the Quality and Operations functions at the company.She used to conduct awareness and training programs for lab safety and documentation compliance. She was also appointed as a Biosafety Officer by CPCSEA for Invictus Oncology for which she used to impart trainings on Biosafety and waste management. She is registered Pharmacist under Uttar Pradesh Pharmacy Council, Lucknow. She has rich teaching experience and professional exposure in Pharma industry. She has good command over subjects of GMP, QA&QC, RA, Formulation and Development, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacovigilance. She was Assistant Professor at GNIT College of Pharmacy, Gr. Noida. She has been a part of core team in organizing and coordinating the activities of the department. She has worked as Research Trainee in formulation and development department of Jubilant Generics, Noida and Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, Haridwar. She had published one research papers as a co-author in Research Journal of Pharmacy and Technology and review articles in Asian Journal of Pharmacy & Pharmacology and Asian Journal of Research in Pharmaceuticals Sciences. Ms. Rajni Jha, Advisor: Ms. Rajni Jha, an expert professional in International Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for APIs for US, European as well as Asia-Pacific markets completed her M.Sc. and Post M.Sc Research work from I.I.T., Kanpur. She has more than 20 years of rich experience working with various pharmaceutical companies like Ranbaxy, Morepen Laboratories, Torrent Pharma, Nicholas Piramal, Unimark Labs, Glenmark Generics and Indswift Labs Ltd.
She is associated with IGMPI for development of training modules, e-lectures, personal lectures, workshops etc. Owing to her skills and proficiency; she had been leading a team of both RA and QA personnel from different departments. Her key responsibilities and roles included submission of API Dossiers including Drug Master Files (DMFs), Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and their updates, Supplements, Amendments, Responses to Queries of different Intermediates & APIs for Filing purposes to Regulatory authorities of various countries as per current global Regulatory guidelines for approvals across all markets (USA, Europe, Australia, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Russia, etc.), development and upgradation of various Protocols /Checklists for CQA as well as RA, assessment of various outsourced DMFs and maintenance of existing DMFs, preparation and streamlining of SOPs, etc. She has also successfully completed USFDA, PMDA, TGA, MHRA and Greece Authority audits for GMP compliance for outsourced intermediates and APIs as a part of QA function. Ms. Rafat Abedi, Deputy Director: Ms Rafat Abedi brings with her over 15 years experience and a wealth of operational knowledge and expertise of several industries. She is dedicated to accomplish the mission of the Institute - knowledge dissemination and training in Good Manufacturing Practices and other related areas in Pharmaceutical, Food and Healthcare Industries.
As a part of Board of Directors, she is responsible for the preparation of the financial statements of the organization that give a true and fair view of the financial position, financial performance of the organization and also for safeguarding of its interest, making judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; and design, implementation and maintenance of adequate internal financial controls. She also looks after administration, training co-ordination, training kits and study materials development and other entire logistics for IGMPI. She has previous rich experience in Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and OTC drugs & education Industries on leading roles of marketing and logics management as well as training and co-ordination of career programs in Pharmaceutical, Food and healthcare industries.
For her continued efforts and commitment for training and development in the area of GMP, she has been conferred with Quality Council of India (QCI) – DL Shah National Quality Award & ASSOCHAM Services Excellence Award 2017.
Dr. Neelam Tripathi, Senior Faculty Member: Dr. Neelam Tripathi has overall experience of more than 17 years with 10 years in software quality, documentation, regulatory compliance and medical and scientific publishing in notable companies like Swiss Data Lynx, IDS Infotech, Tata Consultancy Services, SPI Technologies, Thompson Press. Her expertise lies in the areas of Computer System Validation (CSV), CAPA, Change Control, audit and Quality related activities. She has provided training on Regulatory Compliance, Pharmacovigilance and IT System functional side. She has also managed training need analysis, content development and training effectiveness. She has also worked with global teams for completion of testing and QA Processes whenever any IT application is developed maintained or enhanced. She has completed her PhD in zoology from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. She has also Completed Toastmasters Internationals Competent Leader and Competent Communicator Certification.
Prof. Kanchan Vashisth, Associate Professor: She is a senior faculty member at IGMPI. Prior to her association with IGMPI, she has been working as a teaching faculty in University of Delhi as Assistant professor as well as guest faculty. She has taught both graduate and post graduate programmes like B. Tech. Food technology, B.Sc. Food technology and M.Sc. food & nutrition and has also been a Counselor in IGNOU. She is NET qualified and has rich experience of 12 years in the food industry. She has been working in SGS India for 7 years as an Assistant manager in Food and Agricultural Department. She has specialized knowledge about food testing of various products, from grain to ready to eat, in compliance with both national and international standards like AOAC, ISO, AOCS, ICUMSA, FAC, and Quality which include preparation of SOP & IOP, documentation as per ISO 17025. She has successfully handled various audits carried out by BIS, NABL (ISO 17025), as well as client audit like GSK, Ranbaxy, Nestle, Kraft etc. During her tenure in SGS she has handled many projects with MNCs like GSK, P&G, Nestle and wriggly. Prior to SGS, she has worked as a part of the R&D team in MFIL (a subsidiary of HIL) for 2 years where her core area was new product development. She is engaged in developing modules, e-lectures at her best in the disciplines of Good Manufacturing Practices, Clinical Research, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Pharmacovigilance, Public Health & Hospital Administration. She has worked with many pharmaceutical & healthcare companies like many pharmaceutical companies like Fortis Clinical Research and Jubilant Clinsys having more than 6 years of experience. Prof. Mohammad Atiq Alam, Assistant Professor (Product Management): A pharmaceutical sales , marketing and product management professional with rich management experience in pharma companies like Abbott Healthcare, BSN Medical India and Fresenius Kabi , Mohammad Atiq on various profiles like Area Business Manager / Territory Business Manager is responsible for teaching and industry oriented intensive training for our product management, sales and marketing and medical sales programmes. Prof. V K Mandavi, Assistant Professor: She is a young and dedicated member of IGMPI who has brought an innovative approach towards food safety and quality. She is involved in imparting training for our various regular and distance cum e-learning programmes as well as FSSAI Food Safety Supervisor training. She has completed her B.Tech & M.Tech in Food Technology from UPTU. In addition to these, she is HACCP Level 2 certified, FoSTac ToT certified and Food Safety Digital Mitra (FSSAI). Being proficient in diverse areas of strain improvement, process development and fermentation based pharmaceuticals; she has deep interest & vast exposure in GLP/GMP & patent infringement. She also has adequate knowledge of International regulatory guidelines. She has also been associated with Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited as a group leader in the department of fermentation and International Drug Regulatory Affairs. There she has been entrusted with submitting Drug Master Files/Registration Dossiers for in-house manufactured APIs to various regulatory authorities. As per her academic experience, she has worked as a lecturer over three years in the department of microbiology, School of life Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Apart from these, she is also an Ex- Member of Board of studies and Board of control of Microbiology department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India. Dr. Shikha Kumar, Faculty Member: Dr Shikha Kumar is one of our faculty members and trainers. She has deep interest and vast exposure in GMP training, writing pharma & healthcare related modules and regulatory documents. She has completed her bachelor's in pharmacy from K.N.M.I.P.E.R, Modinagar and her master's in pharmacy from I.T B.H.U, Varanasi. She has also completed her Ph.D from Hamdard University, New Delhi. Apart from these, she is also trained in regulatory affairs and in medical and clinical research writing. She has worked for a couple of pharmaceutical companies i.e. Eli Lilly and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited. There she has been entrusted for manuscript writing for non-clinical and clinical studies, compilation of CMC and IMPD for IND filling in UK and India. She has about 15 research articles as an author and about 10 publications as a medical writer in peer-reviewed journals. She has also done patent writing and medical letters writing. During her job in pharma companies, she has also written protocols, investigator's brochure, scientific reports and newsletters for clinical trials. She has been associated with Clinical Research associate with a few CROs and thus had hands on working basis of the industry. She is presently associated with IGMPI as one of its advisors.
Dr.Snehal Singh, Faculty Member:Dr. Snehal Singh has a diverse experience of more than 8 years in medical/ scientific/ E-learning and educational writing, which includes good manufacturing practices, clinical research and scientific documents, medico-marketing material, training manuals, online learning programmes modules, patient education material and educational counseling. She has worked with esteemed organizations like Institute of Preventive Cardiology, Oxygen Healthcare Communications, Satyam BPO and Novartis Healthcare Pvt Ltd. She is a qualified medical professional (B.H.M.S) and has earned Post Graduation in Hospital & Healthcare Management (PGDHHM) and in Preventive & Promotive Health Care (PGDPPHC) on her name. Prof. Shikha Thakur, Assistant Professor: Shikha Thakur is working with IGMPI as an Assistant Professor. She is responsible for developing training mo dules e-lectures, personal lectures delivering her best of knowledge and skills in the domain of Quality Control, Quality Assurance & Good Laboratory Practice. She is currently also indulged in providing assistance to our senior faculty members in the finalization of training modules' syllabi, content and methodology and conducting e and personal lectures. She is an alumnus of ISF College of Pharmacy, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, where she did her Bachelor's and Master's programme in pharmacy with specialization in Quality Assurance. As her remarkable achievement, she is a recipient of DST sponsored PTU fellowship for project entitled‚“Solubility enhancement of Arteether: Formulation Development and Optimization. She has been entrusted with responsibility of helping advisors and Director General of the Institute in providing the distance cum e-learning and regular participants and trainees with experiential training in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research and Good Laboratory Practice.
Prof. Harshita Sharma, Assistant Professor: Currently as an Assistant Professor, Harshita is working contraining modules development and co-ordination with an objective of achieving larger mission and goals of the organization. With deep interest and academic excellence in the areas of Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs Good Manufacturing Practices and Intellectual Property Rights, she keeps a close watch on latest developments in the Industry. In addition to these responsibilities, she is playing a key role in setting up Project Training division of IGMPI. Harshita has completed B. Pharmacy from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Pharmacy, IP University, Delhi, and M.Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmaceutics from ISF College of Pharmacy, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and is a Ph.D. scholar in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. Aside from her regular association with IGMPI, she is presently designated as an independent Non-Executive Director in Medicamen Biotech Limited as well.
Prof. Dilrose Pabla, Assistant Professor:Dilrose Pabla has taken up the responsibilities of assisting senior IGMPI faculty members and advisors of the Institute in development of training modules, e-lectures, training kits, regulatory guidelines etc. Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property Rights, Nanotechnology & Good Manufacturing Practices are her areas of interest and exploration. She is also playing a key role in organising guest lectures by eminent Industry professionals. Dilrose has completed B. Pharmacy from Sigma Institute of Pharmacy, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, and M.Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmaceutics from ISF College of Pharmacy, Punjab Technical University, Jalandharand is a Ph.D. scholar in Punjab Technical University.
Prof. Ankita Gururani, Assistant Professor: An industry professional with management experience, Ankita Gururani has been associated with implementation of quality assurance in FMCG sector. She has completed her Bachelors in Medical Microbiology from H.N.B Central University and Masters in Microbiology from Amity University, Noida. Apart from these, she has also acquired acertification on Patent Analyst and has thorough knowledge on IPR, database searches. SWOT, CI, patent portfolio and landscaping. She has also worked with Britannia India Ltd., where she was been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting internal audit programs and implemented QNN and 5S as part of manufacturing excellence. At IGMPI, Ankita has an important role to play in the development of the programme content and training modules in the field of food safety and quality assurance with an objective of achieving larger mission and goals of the organization.
Prof. Garima Mishra, Assistant Professor: With a good hold over pharma subjects, impressive interaction skills and a sincere learning attitude, Ms. Garima has teamed up with the IGMPI staff in preparation of modules and lecture development. She has keen interest in Organic chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Analysis and taken lectures on the subjects in reputed pharma colleges. Her industrial exposure encompasses Ranbaxy Laboratories, Akums Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd, Ind-Swift, UNICHEM, Alembic and others. She has completed B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) during her academic tenure. She has had various research papers published to her name in Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research, International Journal of Pharmacy & Life Sciences and International Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Analysis and many others on the way. She has published a book "Method development and validation by Gas chromatography" and also co-authored "Dissolution Enhancement Using Different Formulation Approaches", Lap Lambert academic publishing (USA).
Prof. Neharika Thakur, Assistant Professor: A logical thinker with immense aptitude for research and development work, Ms. Neharika is a work-driven spirited member of the IGMPI team. She has completed her B.Sc. in Food Technology from Delhi University and M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from Pondicherry University. Ms. Neharika has qualified UGC NET in Home Science and ICAR NET in Food technology multiple times. Being an active member of the research community, she has authored a few research publications in international journals and her work with “Utilization of deoiled peanut cake in bakery products” is particularly noteworthy. With her sporty spirit and resolution to leave no work incomplete, she is a constant source of inspiration for the students as well as faculty members. Prior to joining IGMPI she has worked as Assistant Professor in ITM University, Gwalior and had research exposure at ICAR institute. At IGMPI, she is involved in lecture delivery and research guidance while conducting interactive sessions with the students.
Prof. Sangita Borah, Assistant Professor: Prof. Sangita is a competent professional with experience in biochemical studies, food quality testing, equipment handling, and research & development. As a part of Faculty of Food Safety and Quality, she is responsible for developing training module, lectures and research in the domain of food processing and technology. She has qualified ICAR-NET in Food technology and her academic credentials include Masters in Food Processing and Technology from Tezpur University, Assam and graduation in Biotechnology from Shillong. She has always been a keen participant of international conferences, seminars, and workshops in the field of food safety and quality improvement of food supply chain. Prior to joining IGMPI, she has worked as Research Analyst in Rai University and Sr. Research Fellow (SRF) in Tezpur University.
Prof. Renuka Mahajan, Research Associate: Her role is to develop training modules and to assist the senior faculty members in teaching, training and research. Her area of interest includes Quality Assurance and Total Quality Management. She has pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from Doon Valley Institute of Technology, Karnal affiliated to Kurukshetra University.
Prof. Rekha Lohkna, Assistant Professor: An M.tech in Food Technology with specialization in Food Quality Management from SHIATS-DU, Allahabad. Her specialization includes Quality control and management. Her role in IGMPI includes development of programmes content and training modules along with guiding students regarding food safety and quality. She has worked as an assistant professor in Food Technology Department at BFIT, Dehradun before joining IGMPI. Her research work at CFTRI (Central Food Technology Research Institute, Mysore) was entitled “Incorporation of Lotus Rhizome flour in Bakery products and study of its nutritional properties” where she was in the Flour Milling, Bakery & Confectionary Department. Rekha has been associated with the famous ice-cream manufacturer “Cream bell” for some time in the QA Department as well.
Prof. Monica Singh, Assistant Professor: An M.tech in Food Safety and Quality Management, from NIFTEM (National Institute of Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat, Haryana) Deemed to be University (De-novo Category) under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, an autonomous institution under Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. Monica has acquired sound knowledge about food safety and quality at Field Fresh Foods Private Limited with specialization in Quality Assurance department where she was involved in the maintenance and implementation of Global GAP, Tesco TN10 standard, BRC and Field to Fork. Her fields of interest are food safety and quality standards & regulations, food toxicology and food testing. Her research at NIFTEM involved green tea’s quality assessment in different flavors.
Prof. Shivani Singh, Research Associate: She is a young and dedicated member of IGMPI who has brought an innovative approach towards food safety and quality. She assists the senior faculty members in preparation of modules and lectures development. She has completed her M. Sc. (Food Technology) from Gautam Buddha University and graduation from Banasthalli University specialized in Nutrition and Dietitics. In addition to these, she has completed a diploma programmes also specialized in Nutrition and Dietitics . Ms. Shivani had industrial exposure in Haldiram’s (Snacks and Sweets), Surya Agro Foods and Beverages and Mother Dairy, Delhi. She has earned quality experience in quality analysis and procurement of milk and milk products in Mother Dairy. As well as storage and preservation methods of juice and fruit pulp and quality analysis of products & raw material during her stay at Surya Agro Foods. She has also worked as a Food technologist in Lavanya delicious foods and has a rich experience in quality control and procurement of raw spices and finished goods.
Prof. Akanksha Pundhir, Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator: A dedicated faculty member and with a developed scientific acumen Akanksha, an M.tech in Food Processing Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka. She has done research projects on “Utilization of food waste” from IP University and the other on “Enrichment of sugar free ice cream with wine lees” in National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune. Also, she undertook a training programme on basic food testing techniques in FRAC labs, Dwarka. Her list of exposures to industry include; Delhi Milk Scheme (DMS), YAKULT, Haldirams, and Mother Dairy. At IGMPI, she is involved in module development and lecture preparation and her interests are new product development, food packaging and nutraceuticals.
Prof. Joshita, Assistant Professor: An enthusiastic faculty member with keen interest in Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs. She is a post graduate with M.Tech in Food Processing Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka. She has undertaken various research projects including “Antimicrobial activity of probiotics” from CITM and “High dietary fiber biscuits from citrus pulp” from GGSIPU. She has studied “Supported Liquid Membrane technique for selective extraction of organic acids” from CFTRI, Mysore and successfully applied it for Lactic acid removal from Dairy products. Joshita has technical expertise in basic food testing procedures learned from her professional training experience at FRAC Labs, SRL Laboratories and Belcopharma. Her industrial exposure includes Nirula’s Corner Pvt. Ltd., Delhi Milk Scheme and Yakult. Currently, working as an Assistant Professor at IGMPI, she is involved in preparation of programmes content and module development.
Prof. Vasundhra Ganguly, Assistant Professor As a part of the IGMPI staff, Ms. Ganguly is involved in training of students with her proficient knowledge of quality testing of food products and development of standard procedures to evaluate shelf life of products. She has had a rich exposure to technical as well as regulatory aspects of product testing from her experience as a Quality Analyst. Being a multilingual person, she has established herself as a successful educator after interacting with a number of students and professionals from different cultures. Apart from Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, her areas of interest include Patents law, its applications in food, pharma, healthcare and Regulatory Affairs. She has authored a technical paper on New Product Development which has been published by SPRINGER – Journal of Food Science and Technology. Her academic profile encompasses B. Tech, M. Tech in Food Processing Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Patents Law.
Prof. Neha Jha, Assistant Professor: Being a part of IGMPI faculty, Ms. Neha is responsible for keeping the modules up-to-date and validating them. She is involved in data research and supports the senior members of faculty in lecture preparation. She holds her Graduation degree in Bio-technology and her Masters in Food Technology from Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) and is qualified in a certificate programme in SIDBI-SIMAP (Small Industries Development Board of India-Small Industries Management Program) from IIT, Delhi. She has had industrial exposure from Ind-Swift Laboratories and Sudha Dairy. Also, she has undergone professional training at Bioinformatics Institute of India and Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital. She has done commendable research work on Pearl millet at CFTRI under the title ‘Factors affecting the utilization of Pearl Millet grain components’. She is well-versed in techniques of Fermentation, Microbial Culture (Isolation, characterization and preservation), Genomic DNA isolation, HPLC, Electrophoresis, Infra-red spectroscopy and many others.
Prof. Pankaj Musyuni, Associate Visiting Professor: Mr. Pankaj holds a Master’s degree in pharmacy with specialization in Drug Regulatory Affairs and Management. A registered pharmacist, he is an experienced professional in the field of research and consultation related to taxonomy of Intellectual Property Rights. His practice involves filing, prosecution and opposition of patent applications pertaining to the field of pharmaceuticals. He has several years of experience in pharma industry as a reviewer of dossier and validation activities related with GMP, ISO and FDA requirements for pharmaceutical and FMCG regulatory affairs. Mr. Pankaj has more than 25 international and national publications, book reviews and chapters to his credit in the fields of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and pesticides. He has also delivered talks on drug regulatory affairs and clinical research at various national forums. At IGMPI he plays a pivotal advisory role in module development, lecture preparation and student consultation.
Prof. Joshua Martin, Assistant Professor (Food Technology): Joshua has an important role in the development of the programme content and training modules. His field of interest is food safety, FSMS, GMP, HAACP & other standards and food packaging. He has a rich exposure to a variety of Food Industries as a consultant in terms of Food Safety. He is an M.Tech in Food Technology with specialization in Food Process Engineering from SHIATS-DU, Allahabad. Prior to joining IGMPI he was also associated with Nestle. He is a FSSC 22000 certified lead auditor from SGS, India.
Prof. Bhawna Sharma, Assistant Professor: Bhawna is working with IGMPI in the development of training modules, lectures and assisting the senior faculty members in teaching, training and research. She is having technical competence and interest in the field of Clinical Research, Good Manufacturing Practices and Pharma Product Management. She has completed M. Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmacology from P.D.M. College of Pharmacy, PGIMS University, Haryana and B. Pharmacy from Hindu College of Pharmacy, PGIMS University, Haryana.
Prof. Bincy Abraham, Assistant Professor: Bincy is working as a Assistant Professor with IGMPI. She is responsible for developing training modules, e-lectures, personal lectures in the domain of Pharma Product Management, food Product Management and Pharma Sales and Marketing Management. Prior to working with IGMPI, she was associated with Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology as an Assistant Professor. She also worked as trainer in her college facilitating the Management and Engineering students with practical, interactive and fun filled activity based trainings through classroom lectures and seminars. She is a post graduate in Management with specialization in Human Resource and Finance from FMS-The IIS University Jaipur.She has completed her graduation i.e. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Gyan Vihar School of Engineering and Technology.Fast paced solutions, creative techniques and innovative ideas coupled with her expertise in Management & Marketing areas facilitate her as a fully dedicated and passionate trainer and a lecturer.
Prof. Nisha Rani, Assistant Professor and Programme Co-ordinator : She is involved in the development of training modules, lectures and assisting the senior faculty members in teaching, training and research. She has technical competence and interest in the field of Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property Rights and Good Manufacturing Practices. She has completed her B.Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy with specialization in Drug Regulatory Affairs from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana and qualified GPAT, 2012.
Ms. Bhavna Khattar, Programme Co-ordinator: Bhavna's key role is to assist our Advisors in the coordination and execution of our programmes and training modules. She also has good interest in academic deliverables and research in the areas of Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs, IPR etc. She has completed B. Pharmacy from Jaypee University, Solan. Prior to joining IGMPI, she was working with Bioplasma Immunologicals Research.
Ms. Satarupa Ghosh, Research Associate : She has completed B.Sc in Biotechnology Hons. from Royal School of Management and Technology, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odissa and M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Boston College for Professional Studies, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. She has done specialized training related to HLA B27 typing and possesses hands-on skills on other routine diagnostics in Molecular diagnostic division learnt from SRL Religare Laboratories, Gurgaon. She has also done PG. Diploma in Clinical Research from Hyderabad. Presently, her role in IGMPI encompasses development of training modules providing assistance to senior members of the staff.
Mr. Deepanshu Soni, Technology Officer : With a rich experience in Software Development, Web Development, application development, Deepanshu works as a Technology Officer and is responsible for all the technical works and new initiatives at IGMPI in order to make our Learning Management System (LMS) and other web services to our training participants and students user friendly. He also possesses technical competence and interest in the areas of code development, web design etc. He has completed his B. Tech in Information Technology (I.T) from Vindhya Institute of Technology and Science, R.G.P.V University, Bhopal.
Mr. Ujjaval Jain, Associate Programme Manager : At IGMPI, his role covers making use of marketing background, interpersonal skills and managerial abilities for carrying out the promotional activities for potential delegates. He is responsible for program coordination and management and often undertakes research work to expand database and ensuring the organisational involvement in events of notable significance. Mr. Muhammed Ahmed, Medical Coding Instructor : An experienced and a dynamic person, a CPC & ICD-10 AAPC certified professional coder. He has worked for several years as a coding Manager in MNCs like AAPC, E4E Healthcare. He is specialised in E/M(I/P,O/P), ED, HCC LCD coding, Anesthesia, minor surgeries.Through a rich exposure and valuable experience, he has gained an in-depth knowledge of coding techniques and guidelines of medical coding with a strong focus on HIPAA laws and regulations.
Prof. Ridhima Gupta, Associate Professor: Ridhima Gupta is teaching at IGMPI as an Associate Professor. She is engaged in designing and developing modules, e-lectures and quality teaching methods to facilitate learning and enhance application based education by involving case studies. Currently, she is faculty in the disciplines of Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Medial Writing and Public Health and Hospital Administration. In her prior experience, she was involved in clinical research and medical services of various CROs like Fresinious Kabi (erstwhile Dabur Pharma Ltd), Kinapse Information System, and INC Research LLC. She has also been involved in investment banking in healthcare in BioRx Venture Advisors. She has wide experience in writing scientific and regulatory documents for US-FDA, MHRA and DCGI. While working with ADAMS-Ebix, she was involved in developing medical content for e-learning modules. Ridhima has also worked as medical communication specialist and worked as freelance medical content developer. She has completed her Bachelor’s in Instrumentation (H) from Delhi University and Masters in Clinical Research from Cranfield University (U.K).
Prof. Prerna Tyagi, Assistant Professor: Currently working as an Assistant Professor with a good hold over Pharma Technical subjects like Pharmaceutical Technology Transfer, Process Engineering & Pharmaceutical Product Management. Prerna has a very rich corporate experience in Technology Transfer and Process Engineering in Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries like as Ind Swift Laboratories Limited (ISLL), Unimark Remedies Limited (URL) and Gujarat Fluorochemical Limited (GFL). With her deep interest and academic excellence in the said areas, she keeps a close watch on latest developments in the Industry to keep the training modules updating on a regular basis. Prerna has completed B. Tech with specialization in Chemical Engineering from BIT Meerut and MBA (Operational Management) from ICFAI during her academic tenure.
Prof. Anjali Kurian, Assistant Professor: Ms. Anjali E. Kurian is a Master’s degree holder in food technology and management and qualified UGC-NET. As part of IGMPI she is engaged in teaching graduates, imparting training in various specialized areas. She is also actively involved in student independent study activities, and off-campus learning such as practicums and internships.She worked as a JRF at CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute-RC Hyderabad, a branch of the premier organization of scientific and industrial research in food science and technology in India. She has scientific publications in Indian and international journals. She started her professional experience as a Faculty member in Dept. of Food Technology & Management at Loyola Academy Degree & P.G. College, Hyderabad. She likes to interact with students and being multi lingual was her added advantage. She believes that apart from transferring her knowledge there is a lot to learn from students.
She is a technical expertise in Quality testing, Microbiological and Packaging studies of food products. She has a working Knowledge of analytical equipments like Colorimeter, Kjeldhal, Soxhlet etc. Also proficient in spectroscopy and chromatographic techniques, textural (TPA) and rheological analysis (viscometery). She is a trained and certified ISO 22000 (FSSC 22000) internal auditor from TUV-SUD. She has had her share of industry exposure in Hindustan Coca-Cola, Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Cooperative Federation and Crown Beers India (Budweiser).
Prof. Ramya Ponnada, Assistant Professor : Ms. Ramya Ponnada is an industry professional with Quality assurance and regulatory experience. Her previous experience was in pharma division as quality auditor at Vimta Life Sciences, Hyderabad. She is qualified in M.Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Also she is registered pharmacist by Pharmacy Council of India and GPAT qualified. She is associated with IGMPI in teaching and training.
She has good experience as an auditee in regulatory inspections like US FDA, WHO, NABL, BIS and customer audits. Also she has profound experience in process and internal audits, investigations and root cause analysis, CAPA and change management system. She is experienced in analytical method validations, optimizations and, analytical techniques like HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, IC, in-vitro & stability studies. Good knowledge on regulatory guidelines of ICH, FDA 21 CFR, EudraLex for GMP and GLP. Her areas of interest are GMP, Quality Assusrance, Audits, investigations, Quality by Design, Quality Risk Management.
Apart from regular faculty members, eminent and dynamic industrial professionals having rich industrial experience of over 35-40 years have got associated with IGMPI in regular, online learning and Continuing Education Programme (CEP).The industrial professionals who have joined IGMPI in this initiative have worked in reputed pharmaceutical companies like Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd,Cadila Pharma Ltd, Dr.Reddy's Laboratories,Quintiles,IPCA, Cipla etc in the areas of GMP,GLP, Clinical Research, QA/QC, IPR, Regulatory Affairs, Drug Discovery, Public Health, Medical Coding etc.The continuing education training programme has been launched with an initiative to provide training to work force in the industry on specific topics in short time period and to quick fix the issues with possible solutions by having an interface with senior industrial professionals.
