The Professional Certification in Road Vehicles – Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Communication Interface System is a 6-month specialized training programme designed to equip participants with the expertise and applied knowledge required to understand, and implement V2G systems. The programme provides an in-depth understanding of EV technologies, charging infrastructure, communication protocols, grid integration, regulatory frameworks, and emerging innovations.

Participants will explore ISO 15118, OCPP standards, cybersecurity, bidirectional charging systems, and case studies, enabling them to develop competencies in building smart, sustainable, and grid-interactive mobility ecosystems. This certification is ideal for engineers, EV professionals, policymakers, researchers, and entrepreneurs aiming to contribute to the growing EV and smart grid sector.

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma, Executive Diploma and Professional Certifications Programmes. 10+2 pass-outs are eligible for our Under Graduate Diploma and Diploma holders of two to three years course duration are also eligible for the PG Diploma.

Graduates in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, or allied disciplines, as well as working professionals in EV, automotive, IT, and energy sectors, are eligible. Professionals with relevant experience in power systems, mobility, or sustainability are encouraged to apply.

Programme Duration

The minimum duration to complete the Professional Certification programme is 6 months and maximum is 12 months.

Programme Mode

Registration is currently open for Part-time (Online Live Classes) mode.

• Online live sessions on weekends with doubt-clearing sessions before examinations.

Examination and Certification

All the participants are obliged to timely submit completed assessment assignments (during the programme, usually after every module) and appear for an online proctored exam at the end of the programme. After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Professional Certification in Solar, Wind, and Hybrid Energy Systems by Centre for Environmental Health and Safety, IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned modules elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments and project work details would be provided by the Institute from time to time. Discipline in Classes and Examination

Every student is required to observe a disciplined behaviour during her/his classes, assessments & examinations and to follow instructions from the Professors. Any act of indiscipline may result into discredit & it will be mentioned in her/his academic report.

For the Post Graduate Diploma and Undergraduate Diploma Programmes, we will provide placement assistance after the completion of the programme.
