GDP Non-Compliance Reports Lead to Withdrawal of Authorisations

Two GDP Non-Compliance Reports were recently added to the EudraGMDP database due to serious violations:

  • Cyprus (20 March 2025) – Report NCCENTROM/2025/001 revealed that a distributor supplied medicines to unauthorized entities, breaching GDP rules.
  • Austria (26 March 2025) – Report 482076-103624037 stated that the distributor failed to comply with EU GDP Guidelines, with no further details provided.

As a result, both companies had their Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA) withdrawn.

These cases underscore the importance of strict compliance with Good Distribution Practice to ensure patient safety and supply chain integrity.
