Professional Certification on Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS)

Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) is a proactive safety management approach that focuses on identifying, analyzing, and improving unsafe behaviors that lead to workplace incidents and accidents. Research across high-risk industries such as manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, power, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and infrastructure has consistently shown that 80–90% of workplace accidents are linked to unsafe acts and human behavior rather than unsafe conditions alone.

Traditional safety systems primarily rely on rules, procedures, and engineering controls. While these are essential, they are often insufficient without addressing the human and organizational factors that influence day-to-day safety performance. Behaviour-Based Safety bridges this gap by promoting safe behaviors through observation, feedback, positive reinforcement, leadership involvement, and a strong safety culture.

This programme is designed to provide participants with a practical, structured, and implementable understanding of BBS, integrating global best practices, ISO 45001 requirements, human factors, and recent trends such as psychological safety, safety leadership, and digital safety tools.

The training emphasizes real-world applications, case studies, and hands-on learning, enabling organizations to reduce incidents, improve safety culture, enhance employee engagement, and achieve sustainable safety excellence.
