Certified Internal Auditor (CIA): NABH - 6th Edition

Hospitals and healthcare organizations are responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care every single day. From outpatient consultations to complex surgical procedures, diagnostic services, nursing care, and administrative processes, every function directly impacts patient safety and clinical outcomes. Ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance across these diverse processes is critical in today’s healthcare environment.

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) accreditation underpins trust and confidence in healthcare delivery systems in India. NABH standards are designed to promote patient safety, quality of care, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence. NABH accreditation verifies that healthcare organizations meet stringent requirements related to patient rights, clinical care, infection control, facility management, human resources, and governance.

The NABH Internal Auditor programme prepares professionals to evaluate, monitor, and improve compliance with NABH standards through systematic internal audits. Internal auditors play a vital role in identifying gaps, preventing nonconformities, and strengthening quality management systems before external assessments.
