Akshayakalpa Organic Launches High Protein Milk to Address India’s Protein Gap

Akshayakalpa Organic has introduced its new High Protein Milk, expanding its functional nutrition portfolio that includes high-protein paneer and peanut-ragi snacks. The launch aims to help address India’s widespread protein deficiency, with IMRB data showing that nearly 73% of Indian diets lack adequate protein.

Made from fresh organic cow’s milk and processed using ultrafiltration technology, the milk offers 25g of protein per 250ml serving. It is lactose-free and free from antibiotics, preservatives, and added hormones, making it easy to digest and suitable for direct consumption or use in smoothies and cereals.

The new product strengthens Akshayakalpa’s range of clean dairy offerings, such as lactose-free milk, yoghurts, probiotic curd, and fortified high-protein paneer. The company works with over 2,700 organic farmers and serves more than 3 lakh consumers across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. High Protein Milk will be available from November 3, 2025, through the Akshayakalpa App, Swiggy, and major online platforms.
