With increasing awareness about the importance of healthy eating and active living for maintaining overall well-being, the Certificate in Eat Healthy, Stay Fit has been developed by the Centre for Nutrition and Dietetics Studies, IGMPI to provide practical knowledge on balanced nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits, fitness, and diet planning. This programme is designed to help participants understand the relationship between nutrition, physical activity, and overall health for leading a healthier and more active life. The curriculum covers important topics such as balanced diet planning, nutrients and their functions, healthy eating habits, meal planning, fitness and physical activity, hydration, and lifestyle practices that support long-term wellness. The programme focuses on practical learning and everyday applications, enabling participants to make informed food choices, prepare simple and balanced diet charts, and adopt sustainable healthy habits.
This certificate programme is suitable for the general population, fitness enthusiasts, students, working professionals, homemakers, and individuals interested in improving their understanding of healthy eating and staying fit. Any Diploma holder/ graduation/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. in Nutrition/ Home Science/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ BE/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline.
The duration of the certificate programme is 2 days.
Registration is currently open for Part-time (Online Live Classes) mode.
The training material is appropriately aligned with the current industry expectations.
Interactive online live sessions on all key areas of the programme, providing flexibility to participants.
Online discussions and practical learning sessions for ensuring active participation of each attendee.
All learning and training delivery initiatives shall be conducted in English.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive the Certificate in Eat Healthy, Stay Fit from the Centre for Nutrition and Dietetics Studies, IGMPI.
