The Professional Certification in TACCP & VACCP offered by the Faculty of Food Safety and Quality, IGMPI provides a comprehensive understanding of Threat Assessment and Critical Control Point (TACCP) and Vulnerability Assessment and Critical Control Point (VACCP) methodologies in the food industry.
The programme equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to identify, assess, and mitigate threats from malicious, ideologically motivated attacks (TACCP) and economically motivated food fraud (VACCP). The course aligns with international food safety standards including GFSI-benchmarked schemes (BRCGS, FSSC 22000), UK PAS 96:2017 Food Defence, and Codex Alimentarius guidelines on food fraud. The programme is open to candidates with a background in food science, food technology, microbiology, life sciences, or related disciplines. It is also suitable for working professionals in the food industry seeking to upskill in food safety and supply chain security.
