Facility Management (FM) is a multidisciplinary profession that integrates people, place, processes, and technology to ensure the functionality, comfort, safety, and efficiency of the built environment. With rapid urbanization, expansion of commercial and industrial infrastructure, smart buildings, healthcare facilities, educational campuses, malls, airports, and IT parks, the demand for professionally trained Facility Management Managers has increased significantly.

Modern Facility Management goes beyond housekeeping and maintenance—it encompasses operations, safety, sustainability, compliance, budgeting, vendor management, and strategic decision-making. Organizations increasingly seek skilled facility managers who can optimize resources, ensure regulatory compliance, enhance occupant satisfaction, and contribute to business continuity.

This programme is designed to develop competent Facility Management professionals equipped with technical, managerial, and leadership skills required to manage complex facilities across sectors such as corporate offices, manufacturing units, hospitals, hotels, residential complexes, and public infrastructure.

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma, Executive Diploma and Professional Certifications Programmes. 10+2 pass-outs are eligible for our Under Graduate Diploma and Diploma holders of two to three years course duration are also eligible for the PG Diploma.

Programme Duration

The minimum duration to complete the PG diploma programme is 12 months and maximum is 24 months. The minimum duration to complete the executive diploma programme is 6 months and maximum is 12 months.

Programme Mode

Registrations are currently open for regular and Part-time (Online Live Classes) both modes.

Examination & Certification

All the participants are obliged to timely submit completed assessment assignments (during the programmes, usually after every module) and appear for an online exam at the end of the programmes. After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in Hospitality & Hotel Administration by Centre for Hospitality and Hotel Management (CHHM), IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned modules elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments and project work details would be provided by the Institute from time to time. Discipline in Classes and Examination

Every student is required to observe a disciplined behaviour during her/his classes, assessments & examinations and to follow instructions from the Professors. Any act of indiscipline may result into discredit & it will be mentioned in her/his academic report.

Placement Assistance & Corporate Relations

The Institute provides dedicated placement assistance to participants enrolled in the Professional Certification / Executive Programme in Facility Management (FM Manager), offered under the Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management. The programme is supported by a robust placement and corporate relations cell comprising senior Human Resources professionals, talent acquisition specialists, and industry advisors from the facility management, real estate, infrastructure, and services sectors.

The placement cell actively works to enhance the employability of participants by maintaining strong relationships with HR teams, operations heads, and recruiting managers across leading organizations.
