Havas Creative India, in collaboration with The Times of India, secured five awards at the Clio Awards 2025 for its impactful 'Ink of Democracy' campaign. The wins include 2 Golds (Media, Print), 1 Silver (Partnerships & Collaborations), and 2 Bronzes (Print, Specific Target Audience).
The campaign used the symbolic purple electoral ink to print a logo-free, headline-free editorial page—serving as a silent protest against voter apathy ahead of India’s general elections. Its powerful simplicity captured global attention.
Following earlier wins at ADFEST and Spikes Asia, the campaign has now earned 17 awards, reinforcing its creative and social impact. Most notably, it played a role in inspiring a record-breaking 642 million voters to participate—the highest turnout in history.
