Sony Sports Network bags absolute television broadcasting rights for MLC' 24 in India

Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited, owner of Sony Sports Network in India, has secured exclusive television rights for Major League Cricket (MLC) for one year. The league's second season begins July 6th, 2024, with MI New York facing Seattle Orcas in the opener at Church Street Park, Morrisville, and concludes on July 29th at Grand Prairie Stadium, Texas. Indian franchises like Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Chennai Super Kings add excitement, alongside stars like Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran.

Commentators include Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram, Danny Morrison, Daren Ganga, Pommie Mbangwa, Matthew Hayden, Chris Morris, Natalie Germanos, Scott Styris, and Mike Haysman. MI New York won the inaugural season, with Pooran as Player of the Season for his 388 runs.
