Viacom18 to cover and broadcast the unprecedented Olympic opening ceremony.

Viacom18, the official broadcast and digital partner for Paris 2024, plans to cover the Olympic Opening Ceremony in a unique fashion. This includes a dedicated camera feed on the Team India boat during the Seine parade, offering close-up views of the contingent and real-time reactions.

The ceremony will be broadcast in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, with former champions like Anju Bobby George joining the studio.

Olympics coverage will feature 20 concurrent feeds on JioCinema for free, including 17 sports-specific channels and three curated feeds, all in 4K. These include an India feed, a Women Power feed, and a Best Global Action feed.

On linear platforms, Sports18 channels will offer India-focused and global content.

Sponsors include SBI, JSW Group, ThumsUp, Herbalife, AMFI, MRF, Bacardi Martini India, and Punjab National Bank.
