Withdraws trademark application for 'Operation Sindoor': Reliance Industries

Reliance Industries has clarified that it will not pursue trademark rights for ‘Operation Sindoor’, a term symbolizing Indian bravery against terrorism. This follows a trademark application by Jio Studios, which the company says was mistakenly filed by a junior staff member without authorization and has since been withdrawn. “Operation Sindoor is a proud achievement of our Armed Forces,” Reliance stated, affirming its respect for national security efforts. Launched after a Pakistan-backed terror attack in Pahalgam, the operation has become a symbol of unity. Reliance reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Government, Armed Forces, and its commitment to the ‘India First’ principle.
