Cerebral Expands ADHD Care with Inflow Acquisition Amid Rising Cases

Cerebral has acquired ADHD app developer Inflow, strengthening its digital mental health offerings as demand for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) care continues to rise. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Built on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles, Inflow provides structured, skills-based modules designed to help users manage symptoms, build healthier habits, and improve daily functioning. Research indicates the app can reduce self-reported symptoms and impairment.

Through the acquisition, Cerebral aims to extend support beyond clinical consultations by offering continuous, app-based care. Industry-wide, digital ADHD solutions are gaining traction, including FDA-cleared tools such as prescription digital therapeutics and game-based interventions.

According to GlobalData, diagnosed ADHD cases across the seven major markets are projected to increase from 21.1 million in 2022 to 22 million by 2032, driven in part by improved screening and diagnostic practices.
