Spectrum Dynamics’ VERITON-CT Gains FDA Clearance for Veritas.AI Noise Reduction Platform

Spectrum Dynamics Medical has received FDA clearance for its Veritas.AI Noise Reduction platform, designed to enhance the VERITON-CT SPECT/CT nuclear imaging system.

Veritas.AI employs a deep learning convolutional neural network (CNN) to reduce image noise while maintaining spatial resolution and quantitative accuracy. The platform has been clinically validated for applications including bone imaging and Lu-177 theranostics for prostate cancer, and can reduce scan times by up to 50%. It also improves image quality in low-count and high-noise conditions, supporting some of nuclear medicine’s most demanding imaging scenarios.

Veritas.AI delivers clearer images, greater clinical confidence, and more efficient workflows, helping hospitals accommodate growth in theranostics and quantitative SPECT/CT.

GlobalData analysis highlights that the nuclear imaging market is expanding, with SPECT valued at $4.7 bn in 2025 and PET agents projected to grow faster over 2025–2035. Overall, nuclear imaging is expected to reach $10.1 bn by 2034.
