The World Avocado Organisation (WAO) has kicked off its 2025 campaign in India, continuing its mission to promote avocados as a nutritious and versatile superfood. After successful runs in 2023 and 2024, this year’s initiative focuses on increasing awareness among Indian consumers and the food industry.
WAO chairman Zac Bard expressed enthusiasm about returning to India, noting the country’s growing interest in healthy eating. He highlighted avocados as a perfect fit for modern Indian diets due to their health benefits, taste, and adaptability.
The 2025 campaign will feature Indian chefs and nutritionists showcasing creative ways to incorporate avocados into both traditional and modern dishes. Special emphasis will be placed on integrating avocados into regional Indian cuisines, offering easy, tasty, and wholesome options to suit diverse palates.
