FUJIFILM Sonosite Expands Point-of-Care Imaging with New Portable Ultrasound System

FUJIFILM Sonosite has unveiled the Sonosite MT, a new portable ultrasound device designed to strengthen its point-of-care imaging portfolio, which already includes the PX, LX, and ST systems. Built with a clamshell design, the Sonosite MT offers flexibility for use with or without a stand and can be easily transported between clinical settings. Its touchscreen-only interface and button-free monitor allow for effortless cleaning and infection control, while integration with Synapse Synchronicity workflow manager streamlines daily operations.

Delivering high-quality imaging across diverse patient groups, the device reinforces FUJIFILM Sonosite’s commitment to durability, reliability, and user-friendly design. Distributed in over 100 countries, the company continues to focus on enhancing point-of-care ultrasound accessibility for healthcare professionals. The launch follows FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas’ 2025 partnership with Us2.ai, aimed at integrating AI-based image analysis into cardiovascular ultrasound platforms to improve heart disease diagnostics and workflow efficiency.
