Masimo reports cyberattack has impacted its ability to fulfill orders

Masimo, a medical technology firm based in Irvine, California, is investigating a cyberattack discovered on April 27, 2025, that disrupted its manufacturing operations and delayed order processing. In a recent SEC filing, the company stated that the breach affected its on-premises systems, hindering its ability to fulfill and ship orders. Masimo promptly isolated impacted systems and engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to contain and remediate the incident. The company is also working with law enforcement. While its website and several internal systems were affected, there is no current evidence the cloud infrastructure was compromised. Masimo is actively restoring its network and operations. Despite the disruption, the company maintained its financial outlook. Non-GAAP earnings for Q1 rose 56% to $1.36 per share, with $371 million in revenue. Projected 2025 revenue remains between $1.5 billion and $1.53 billion. Additionally, Masimo is selling its Sound United division to Harman International for $350 million to refocus on healthcare.
