MOPIC Unveils Glasses-Free 3D Display for Medical Imaging

South Korea-based MOPIC has launched a 32-inch autostereoscopic 3D display designed for endoscopic and microscope imaging. The system provides glasses-free depth perception, helping clinicians visualize intricate microbial, molecular, and surgical structures with lifelike clarity.

The display integrates an embedded 3D lens, eye-tracking camera, and real-time 3D rendering software that supports standard stereo formats such as side-by-side. It connects directly to existing microscopes or endoscopes through MOPIC’s 3D software running on a PC, enabling 3D visualization without hardware replacement.

Several Korean hospitals have already adopted the system for surgical video review and training simulations, noting that the display replicates the dimensionality of live surgery and enhances collaboration among medical teams.

Marketed as a B2B solution for hospitals and device manufacturers, the display can be customized or white-labeled. MOPIC plans to showcase the technology at CES 2026, offering live demonstrations of 3D medical imaging.
