NVIDIA collaborates with Hyperfine on Swoop MRI AI system
Hyperfine has partnered with NVIDIA to enhance the AI capabilities of its Swoop MRI system, the world’s first FDA-approved portable magnetic resonance brain imaging system. This collaboration aims to make the system faster, smarter, and more affordable by leveraging NVIDIA’s AI-powered image reconstruction tools.
The partnership will integrate advanced AI technologies, including NVIDIA DALI and MONAI, to improve image quality, accelerate scan times, and embed real-time clinical decision support into Swoop’s workflows. These advancements will enhance diagnostic efficiency, particularly in point-of-care settings such as intensive care units.
Swoop is designed for rapid brain imaging in cases of stroke, headaches, muscular weakness, and encephalopathy, offering a more accessible and cost-effective alternative to traditional MRI systems. By incorporating cutting-edge AI, Hyperfine and NVIDIA aim to revolutionize portable MRI technology, expanding access to critical neuroimaging worldwide.
