Phillips Medisize Launches TheraVolt Medical Connectors

Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, has introduced TheraVolt Medical Connectors, marking its entry into the medical connector market under its own brand. Designed to support both signal and high-voltage transmission, the connectors aim to enhance device integration, performance, and reliability—especially for technologies like pulsed field ablation (PFA) used in treating atrial fibrillation.

Key features include cross-platform compatibility, high pin count, and voltage clearance, enabling flexible, multi-functional device design while reducing development time and costs. The connectors are customisable, off-the-shelf, and autoclave-compatible, ensuring durability through repeated sterilisation cycles.

Engineered to meet IEC and IPC standards, TheraVolt connectors prioritise safety and efficiency in critical medical applications. Phillips Medisize also revealed that additional connector products are in development and expected to launch within 18–24 months.
